John Dibble's Lancashire based company "Where The Wild Things Are" produces unique furniture from reclaimed wood.

The company was formed in 1999 by John Dibble and Karen Akroyd to create sensual objects often exploring the connection between form and function.

Left - The beach in front of John's home on the North West coast of England provides him with a never ending supply of beautiful driftwood.

Armed with basic woodworking skills from his school days, John developed his technique through trial and error.  The design of the furniture is very much led by the size, shape and texture of the reclaimed wood, but John is also inspired by natural forms, colour, texture and even movement.
